I am currently trying to purchase a system for my car at an affordable price. I know that is like an oxy-moron but I'm not looking to compete with others just get some better sound while I'm sitting in traffic. Now I have kinda narrowed it down to a couple of big box store system bundles which are priced in my range but I need your help to determine which one is better than the other! Ok so Best Buy has a Dual brand box with 2 300 watt subs and a dual brand 600 watt amp for 249.99 out the door. Circuit City has a Bazooka brand box with 2 300 watt subs and a 300 watt Bazooka brand amp for 199.99 plus tax. And lastly ABC Warehouse has a Directed brand box with 2 400 watt subs and a 800 watt Directed brand amp for 250.00 plus tax in which this package come with a 10 gauge wiring kit. I will be hooking up these subs and amp to a Sony CD player. Also I listen mostly to hard rock and do not plan on replacing my factory speakers at this moment. Thanks for your help!

Go w/ the ABC warehouse bc it comes w/ the wiring kit (made specifically for what you're purchasing) and the speakers can handle more power. The box shouldn't matter since you're not competing. Though may I suggest you go for an alpine head unit, bc Sony isn't so great for car systems. The Alpine will drive your factory speakers better and louder to give an even increase in your car system

id personally wouldnt go with those brands at all.. ive heard the dual combo, while its not bad, id spend a little extra mony on kicker.. they hit hard and will last a long time.
