Yes! As a Certified Hypnotist, I have helped many pass the NASD Series 7 test - those who because of anxiety issues would blank on what they know. They knew the information, but because of anxiety they were not able to "find it" or retrieve it...A simple session of no more than 20 minutes and they were able to access all they needed....

Absolutely...I have had anxiety since childhood and both my long and short term memory has suffered. Your brain can only handle so much. When it's focused on dealing with anxiety it can't take in everything else that's asked of it....

I would say rather that anxiety affects your concentration, and that can masquerade as memory loss.
