This topic seems to close to the heart of all the muslims i've met. More so than the muslims dying in Iraq, Sudan etc.

They all tell me that the children are blowing themselves up as they don't believe they have a future.

With nearly 1.5 billion muslims in the world, all feeling this is unjust, surely they could all get together to redevelope this region and make it more prosperous than Israel.

Then the people would surely have a future.

Maybe they should concentrate on redevelopment before spending funds on terrorist attacks on Israel

Certainly does beat complaining about the whole situation while sitting around having tea, lol!
To be honest with you however, people have and are trying similar things. It's so difficult because any money going to Palestine is considered by the government to be aiding in terrorism and is almost immediately frozen. There were quite a few charity organizations that helped Palestinian children, schools, food, medical needs, ect, but very shortly after 9-11 they were frozen and considered aids to terrorist organizations. Maybe a couple were, we really don't know, but try finding one now that isn't under the microscope of the FBI, CIA and whatever governmental organization has it's hands covered in blood.

If it wasn't for all of that, it would be a really great idea and I think we could certainly help out.

Muslims are less concerned with helping Palestine than with moaning about Israel as a means of diverting their own people from the injustices within Islamic societies.

There is plenty of money in Islamic oil rich states. If there is a true Islamic brotherhood of one nation, then I would expect to see large scale resources being ploughed into Palestine. I have to suspect, sadly, there are some who would prefer to keep Palestine unstable and fight a proxy war with israel through organisations like Hamas, rather than invest in Palestine to produce peace.

That's a very good point. Also, Palestine receives billions in aid from Western countries, but very little from muslim countries.

If these countries are that concerned, they should chip in a little bit. Israel has been offering funding for housing for Palestinian refugees for decades, yet Palestinian authorities refuse it. Islam in the Middle East thrives on the Palestinian conflict, and it is not in their interest to see Palestine thrive - if Palestine settles and thrives they will no longer have legitimate reason to carry on their hate and violence against Israel. That is why, in my opinion.

But what would muslims have to moan about and fight for if Palestine was a prosperous free nation? They might have to sit back and shut up if that happenned, so it probably never will.
Kimo are you serious? You are talking about fighting for peace which makes about as much sense as f**king for virginity

very good Question and the reason that they don't pump money into the Palestine territories is that that would defuse the situation.
if the Palestinians were decently housed had work and enough food they wouldn't be interested in listening to the mad mullahs

If only if it were that easy! Many Muslim countries and many Muslims from around the world have sent money to aide them. But in the recent, any money sent there or any where for that matter, is labled as money to aide terrorist.

You are right - BTW individual Muslims do give alot of money - however often the zionist lobbies try and close charities which help the Palestinians, such as Interpal, as part of their plan to starve and make live so unbearable for the Palestiniasn that they emigrate -

You neglect to mention the most important fact - Israel has control over the Palestinians resources and access to them and blocks aid and money getting thorugh to them - because of this blockade many Palestinians havent been piad for nearly a year and families and children are on the brink of starvation - all strongly supported by US aid and the US govt

Basically the Israelis are doing to the Palestinians what was done to them by the Nazis

Palestine has been under israeli occpation/rule for over 40 years and has become poorer while isreals economy has boomed -it also continually bombs Palestinian areas destroying their infrastructure - as it did to Lebanon destroying that countires infrastructure and tourism industry
