Just one more reason to like the French. The World should congratulate France, I'm sure Jesus would be happy.

What next, you'll be arguing that the wealthy owners of the mega-churches shouldn't pay taxes on the millions they siphon off.

This is plain normal. Religious organizations are here to make money upon the naive creeds of peoples. It's a way to fight them. Laicity is what people need to raise from obscurantism.

When we can not prohibit religions, at least, we shall minor them so that they are harmless for One's mind.

Why is the French tax system the world's business? I'm part of the world and don't give a hoot.

Nope
It was a very good thing to impose tax on people for wasting time and money

Yes, the world should condemn France for this and many more offenses against civilization. Remember France profitted from the oil for food scandal and Saddam Hussein bribed French officials to look the other way when Saddam took money meant to feed Iraqi children and used it for weapons including the poison gas Saddam used to murder thousands of Iraqis and Iranians.
I wonder if muslim organizations will get an exemption to this new tax. Maybe there will be a deal to exempt muslims if they agree not to burn Paris again.

That depends on what the tax is for. I'm not familiar with this. Can you provide a source?

Make it 100% and I'm there!

and I do believe its because they, rightly, think that the particular 'religion' is in fact a profit making organisation.

I would first have to know the reasoning behind it.
