what is important that they continue to model themselves after that kind man who hung out with fishermen and tax collectors. he didn't ask for much, but was always looking to alleviate the pain and hardship of others. he hated the judgmental, religious leaders of his time.......it doesn't matter what you wear, what matters is who you are......

good luck & blessings

Goth can be inappropriate for many church environments, and scary to smaller children, but I would love to see a goth show up at a youth group where everyone else is wearing "business casual" and be welcomed for who they are, not how they are dressed. I'd also like to see the reverse of that, a goth youth group with a suit & tie coming in, and be just as welcome. The heart is where it starts, if you want to talk clothing maybe sackcloth and ashes might be more appropriate for the sinners that we are.

To be a Christain, it is like this, it is attitude of your heart. If you want to be goth cause of the clothes that you can wear, then I dont think it would be wrong, If you are doing it to fit in with friends I think that is a mistake. You should be your self, no matter what kind of clothes you have on.

Everything is wrong to the Christians, so no....you can't be goth or you will burn in hell. That's not what I think personally, but you know how it goes.

No......"goth" is not a religion. Its the way you dress and the type of music you listen to.
It would be the same as asking is it wrong to be Jewish and R&B

no

The Bible does tell us that Christians are supposed to show the joy that they have in Christ at all times.

I don't associate Goth with a look of depression but many do. I don't care how you dress but you need to always show your joy in Christ and let your love abound.

Does it glorify Christ? Or, does it call attention to yourself? You are a new creation in Christ. Buried with Him in Baptism into His death, so that it is not longer you that lives....but Christ lives in you.

Is that what Goth dress shows to the world? I think not.

Grow up and act like a Christian adult.
