Someone showed me in the Bible that Jesus loved me. The Bible is the reason I believe, not that person.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Both are correct. You see when you love God you see His love all over the place and from others and in the Word of God. God is love. Isn't that a better message than the world gives. All, the world gives is death, hate and strife. All that is good in this world is from God.
