I like the Honda4x4's. They are reliable ATV's as they are built well, simple to maintain and hold their value. Parts for them are expensive but they last a long time. Hope that helps

It really depends on what you are going to be doing with your ATV. The Polaris ATVs seam to ride the best. The Honda ATVs seam to last the longest and hold their resale value the best. Just don't buy a cheap ATV that you can't get parts for. The cheapo ones that come from China are disposable meaning that when they break down you throw them away and they will break down fast.

My dad has a '05 Suzuki King Quad 700 and it has been a good one with many nice features on it. It might be the best bang for your buck as far as a big bore ATV goes.

I had a Polaris SP800 for a few months. It had a few features that I liked, the storage compartments and good ride, but I don't think it was built as good as it should have been for the money.

I have a Can-Am Outlander 800HO now and it is almost everything I could have wanted in a quad. :-)

If for some strange reason you think 800 cc's is to big they also make a 500HO and a 650HO which are both EFI V-Twins. ;-)

My 2 cents is go old school. I have been into three wheelers since I was 3. I now have a 1985 model yamaha tri-z 250. This thing is ridiculously fast. Pulls the wheel in the first 4 gears. This thing is 22 years old and the only thing that has been done to it is replacing the tires and clutch pads. Still runs like brand new. They don't make stuff like they used to. Also go old school if you want a quad. If you have about 3-5 k to put into buying one get a 1986-1989 Suzuki LT500R Quadzilla. This thing was and still is the fastest quad out there period. But, if your looking for something that is bullet proof, go with a 1985-1987 Honda Fourtrax 250. This were shaft drive 4 stroke 250. Electric start with a kick start back up. We had one on our ranch when I was growing up and we rode that thing ALL day flooring it in third gear because my dad would stick it in third and we were to little to shift the gears. ahahaha!!!! that thing held up big time and we never changed the oil in that thing. It would sit all year and then we'd go up for about a week put air in the tires charge the battery and go. That thing was a tank. Hope this was helpful.

i have had a suzuki since 1999 LT250 f
independant suspension ( true ) and the true differential lock sold me and the price is right. going to get an Eiger next automatic this time. POlaris makes a good ride. Artic cat is over looked too. Try to get an automatic if you can afford it. Try not to get one with a straight rear axle if you intend to use it for hunting and want to go deep in the woods or off road.
if you are talking for racing and such delete my answer..4x4's is all i am familar with

i have Honda's and have never been sorry about buying them. they are tough, reliable and go where i want to go. i recently test drove a new Bombardier and was very impressed so much so that i am going to buy one. Polaris are okay but not reliable to the standards that i expect for the huge amount of money they want.
