Seanmháthair is the formal word for Grandmother, the less formal way of saying Grandma is Mamó

buachaill sheanmháthar - grandma's boy Or you could also spell it with a hyphen: buachaill shean-mháthar (but this is considered old-fashioned) * edit: If you are talking about a small boy, you can say: garsún sheanmháthar (or shean-mháthar)
