I just had to recently go to the dermotologist and this is what was told to me by my PCM.......Your PCM must believe first of all that you really need to go.If there is nothing they can do to help you or all they've already tried has failed, then they submit a referral to Tri-Care which in turn excepts or denies it. Tri-Care DOES NOT cover things such as skin peels or laser treatments, botox etc. I believe normally only for severe acne treatments or things such as mole removal. Ask your PCM or call Tri-Care.

only with a referral from your PCM, and they will not covere cosmetic procedures unless they are deemed medically necessary( skin grafts for burn victims, for instance)
