I'm looking to purchase some new sofas and I was wondering where I could get a good quality sofa in NYC. I want to buy a dark brown leather sofa. I'd appreciate it if you help me limit my choices by suggesting stores and even warning me about any furniture stores you may have had a bad experince with.

I have been shopping for leather furniture also. I found that jcpennys online store had comparable items at about half the price of the big name furniture stores. The draw back to that is you dont see it till it is delivered.They do have a 7 day return policy but not sure if that covers shipping.

Hi there I purchased a bedroom set from kelleyfurniture.com once and it was BEAUTIFUL and cheap too! They now have free shipping, they did not used to (bummer for me). They do have many leather sofas and while I have never really shopped for these myself, they appear to be good deals. I got mine at Bob's furniture store http://www.mybobs.com/default.asp and it was decent. they have their prices on that site, so you can check them out. A little pressure from the sales people, which I guess is to be expected. I went to one just over the river in NJ and it was decent though. Good stuff, high quality. It was recommended from a friend. If you dont have a car, you can take a taxi or NJ transit train from penn station too.

well...theres this company called GREENBAUM INTERIORS. that does some banging interior! (my pops runs part of it) tell him you know Paul and get a discount! ^_^
