You need to stop being so vain and think about how the braces are going to help you in the long run. If a boy doesn't like you because of your braces then he never really liked you anyway. When someone likes you they should like you for who you are not how you look. If all they care about is how you look then don't even consider dating them as this is not a good thing. Yes you can french kiss with braces.

Bla bla bla I'm a self centered prat. Your braces are more importiant than any boy, and your parents are spending thousands to tens of thousands of dollars to get your teeth right. You should be glad your parents are doing this rather than being snot and focused on how a boy thinks of you.
