I've graduated school, paid off loans, time to buy myself a car, it's my 25th coming up so as a bonus I save money on insurance...I've narrowed down the list to a few cars, please take a look at them and suggest which one is best and why.

Thanks,

03-04 Infiniti G35 coupe
01-04 BMW 3 series coupe (most likely the 2.5 or 2.8 engine)
04 Acura TSX
06-07 Pontiac G6 convertible

or something else along these lines, I prefer foreign over domestic

I am a diehard fan of Honda, so I'd have to say Acura hands down. The others may be more flashy or have better names, but Hondas stand the test of time. They have great gas mileage, replacement parts come cheaper, and they last for years upon years. My boyfriend's mother has hers up to nearly 300,000 miles now and it still runs great.

the best way to go is brand new. so i would say the Pontiac. the others you mention are very nice cars but they don't have a warranty and you can never really tell how the previous owner treated and drove it. if a person must go into debt with a large purchase you don't want the unexpected bills that can come with a vehicle that has no manufacturer protection. you sound like a responsible young adult so go the safe way to start and when you are a little more settled in a career and know your budget can take a hit like a major repair on a car, that's the time to buy your dream car.in the next few years you are looking at maybe buying a home or having a kid and if you think repairs are expensive try replacing a furnace or buying diapers.

The G35 had significant brake subject concerns in 03 & 04 some subject concerns remained in 05. make beneficial those have been resolved considering the fact which you do no longer opt to play around with brakes. wanting brakes this could be a solid determination. The BMW 3 series like another German automobile has electric subject concerns. that they had minor engine issues, yet minor can convey approximately large greenbacks in a German automobile. The Acura TSX is your terrific over all wager. No significant issues. The 04's audio gadget had some subject concerns yet you will be able to desire to enhance that. little doubt one in all those feels top once you rigidity it. The Bimmer will finally value you the main for restoration. i could ought to declare the Acura is your terrific wager accompanied by ability of Infiniti then Bimmer. solid success.

You're buying used.

Go to the NADA website, Kelly Blue Book website, or any other consumer guide source to find a wealth of information on these choices you've made. There's no beating an educated consumer.

I was looking into the used car market recently and considered buying the G35. didn't turn out that way though... what I ended up getting was american made and none of my luxury choices.

The Pontiac would be your best bet.You get a new car warranty so you don't have to go in debt for repairs and maintenance. The other makes you list will cost an arm and leg for shop work. The insurance will be less too. You also get that warm and fuzzy feeling from buying American.

i would go with the infiniti or the TSX. the G35 is an awesome car. its fast, but comfortable. The TSX is an awesome car, too. plus, you've got 4 doors to have that extra room. I haven't heard about the G6, but i find them hideous. the 3 series coupes i've seen are all crap.

I would have to say go with the Acura. They will last you a long time and not very expensive to keep up, unlike BMW.
