Hi, I suffer from panic disorder as well. It is a very scary thing to have but is easily treated. I was put on aropac and xanor. Chat to your medical doctor and ask him about this medication. It does help. How to deal with them while you are having one. I know how hard it is to listen to what people are saying. But lay on your bed with a paper bag. Breath into the bag (if you can slowly). I couldnt. But when you panic you hyperventilate and this can cause you to faint. When you are laying down you cannot faint. But you must get medication. I am still on medication as it is a chemical imbalance and havnt had a panic attack in 7 years. Good luck.

I have read some litterature about panic attacks. But they allways seem to have a more scientific approach and that is nothing I need in my struggle to survive those horrible panic attacks. This is a "hand on" and very practical book. I felt it was written to me. I am sure that you are going to feel the same.
Joe Barry writes exactly how I think. The examples are perfectly described. And the method is genius. I recommend this book and thanks Joe Barry for writing it. It changes your life

Well, you can either get medications from a doctor or learn new behavior patterns, from a book or from counseling.
