Ug, don't be so hard on yourself! Even my super toned friends have it, and it's a fact of life for most women. The cause is mainly genetic and cellulite formation is linked to hormones, estrogen to be exact. That is why women gain fat in their thighs, bottom, tummy and the back of their arms when they go through hormonal changes like pregnancy. I've been an aerobic instructor for many years and, while I've always been fairly thin, I've had cellulite on the back of my legs, my bottom and my upper arms for awhile. Two years ago, I decided to get a personal trainer and add weight training to my workout. Wow, what a difference that made! My cellulite is gone gone gone and it was due to the weight training. While the aerobic exercise benefitted my cardiovascular needs, I wasn't getting the tone that I needed. I worked out with my trainer 2 to 3 times a week on weights, an hour each day. Most people don't know this but you will actually burn more calories in an hour of strength training than you will in aerobic activity, if done properly. What's even better is your body continues to burn calories hours after you're done training! I went through a down phase a couple of months ago, and I stopped training and started eating carbs. Guess what came back? The cellulite. If you want to lose it, learn to love fish, especially salmon, get rid of the carbs like bread(keep good carbs like veggies), strength train 2 to 3 times a week, with a trainer if at all possible, if not, find a friend if you don't have the motivation to go on your own. Get on the road and run/walk. Watch your diet, you know when you're going wrong. Do those things, and I promise you that your cellulite will be greatly diminished, if not gone. The bad news? You have to give yourself at least a month of training and diet changes to see visible results. But it is well worth it I can tell you. I have people stop me every day and ask me what I have been doing different, because my body looks so much leaner and tighter. Highly recommended reading? Body for Life by Bill Phillips. It literally changed my ideas about nutrition and taking control of my body. If you need any more tips, let me know. Hope this helps

Cellulite is caused by two things, 1) Fatty tissue and 2) Connective tissue.
The first can be taken care of primarily by diet and working out. Drink your fair share of water, don't eat too much and work out to maintain your metabolism. Squats are especially good for leg and butt cellulite.
The second is more problematic and gets worse as you age because collagen is not regenerated so the tissue becomes less elastic and of course most people gain weight as they age because of a less active life style and a drop in metabolism.
There are treatments out there that help with both the fatty tissue and the connective tissue, especially on a short term basis for your Holiday. The treatments reduce the fat and provide elasticity to the connective tissue. Some of their names include Mesotherapy, Velasmooth and Endermologie.

I am so busy with my 5 kids (all under 8 years old!) and I hate exercising and dieting, life's too short! So I thought the only option for getting rid of my ugly cellulite was to book in with a set of weekly medical roller treatments. Job done.
However, they cost me a monstrous $3000 and, you guessed it, did absolutely nothing. I couldn't believe it. It left me thoroughly depressed.
I saw this info on the web and I gave it a go, what did I have to lose now! And, my god this is genius. Quick and easy. I feel so wonderful in my new, smooth, renewed figure! I am a yummy mummy now!

I tried cycling for a while, wasnt something that i wanted to do exactly, but its the best my thighs and bum ever looked, i could really notice a difference everywhere. I was quite amazed at the results. I also drank hot water with slices of lemon in it. I didnt feel like drinking it all the time, but i made myself drink it.
I tried hard to cut out as much junk as possible too.
I felt lousy for a while, but then i started to feel more alive than i have done in years. I noticed my face seemed to glow, and my eyes were so much brighter. I felt so good, looked better in my clothes and wasnt thinking negative stuff all the time.
It doesnt get rid of it totally, but the rest of you will feel so good, that you wont feel bad about yourself anymore. You wont care about little bits of cellulite. But i assure you, that you will notice a big difference.

Yes - I made some serious headway on my legs and arms by dry skin brushing, then massaging in Weleda's Birch Cellulite oil, which smells lemon-y, is quickly absorbed and organic.
Definitely smoother and less noticeable within 10 days. Good Luck!

The only way to get rid of it is to lose weight and reduce the amount of fat in those areas. Drink plenty of water, eat lots of fruits & veggies, do some toning exercises. Try running with light hand weights. Lunges with weights, and if you can get to a gym leg presses with low weight and high reps. Push ups and curls should help your arms too. Good luck!

Drink plenty of Water, cut down on eating crap and excersise, and use a body buffer in ciruclar movements when showering.
I did this and although I still have some, it's much better than it was.
