350 foot/second = 238.636 363 636 mile/hour

(formula:
1 foot/second = 0.681 818 182 mile/hour)
1 feet = 0.000 189 394 mile
1 hour=3600 second.
1 second=1/3600
=.00028 hour
now,
1feet/sec= 0.000 189 394 mile/0.00028hour
1feet/sec=approx.0.681 818 182 mile/hour

An easy conversion factor to remember is 30 mph = 44 ft/s

Thus 340 ft/s * 30 mph/44 ft/s = 340 * 30/44 mph

multiply by 3600/5280
(3600 = seconds in an hour, 5280 = feet in a mile)

so 350 ft/s = 238.67 mph
