but i don't want to ruin my appetite. Is there any healthy suggestions for something to just keep me from being hungry inbetween my meals. when i'm at school it happens, i try to avert my mind from food but people eat all over and in front of me. i get hungry but i don't want to overeat, i want to also lose weight and be healthy. any ideas?

Try bringing low calorie/low fat snacks with you to school. A small bag of animal crackers, pretzels, bottle of water, etc. That way if you do feel hungry you won't blow it by snacking on a fattening bag of chips or cookies.

If you're hungry, you should eat. Spread your daily caloric intake over 5-6 meals instead of 3.

In between meals eat fresh fruits or vegetable! Health food bars! Stay away from fried foods! Drink water!
