First of all, 99% of the stuff you hear is just some wacked out conspiracy. Secondly, whatever stuff they do hide may actually be a good thing. Not to say that sometimes they hide things they shouldn't, but if a leader was troubled about something important, do you want him to hold a press conference telling you he's wigging out over the asteroid that's about to hit the planet in 24 hours? People think about what leaders publicly think about. They've got their reasons to hide a lot of stuff. Unless you find evidence or indication of corruption, might be better to just trust they're at least trying to do their job and go about your own business.
