Is it okay to eat chicken cooked two days ago i.e. say Tuesday evening it was cooked and to eat it on Thursday evening?. The chicken was put into the fridge once it was cold after cooking. I am unsure in terms of bacteria etc that may produce on it since its been cooked. thanks for your response in advance!

In a proffesional kitchen fresh or cooked foods are given three days life from being cooked or opened, something defrosted is normally given 5. enjoy

Don't believe all those scare stories about cooked meats. As long as the chicken is stored in a airtight container and your fridge is working properly then your chicken will keep quite safely for up to seven days.
You can reheat your chicken but you must make sure that it is piping hot all the way through before eating or you can eat it cold in a salad or a sandwich.
If I were to reveal to you how long some supermarkets keep there cold meats for you wouldn't want to buy any again.

providing the chicken was put into the fridge as soon as it had cooled, and your fridge is working properly, it will be ok to eat cold. if you want to eat it hot you should ensure that it reaches 80 degrees centigrade throughout and keeps at that temperature for at least 2 minutes.

If it was refridgerated shortly after cooking, it should be safe. I always throw it out on the third day.

It should be fine as long as your fridge is cold enough.
