as if it were, i assume you know it's not a religion. The fundamental belief is that humans and life are deformed (mutated) versions of other animals. Rather than calling them deformed or mutants we can say life developed from other lifeforms.
Of course there was a first cell, this cell formed from organic components, we can recreate the components in something called the miller and urey experiment, where they successfully created organic molecules using lightning (well electricity in the lab) heat and a soupy mass of elements. This independently formed as proteins and other things.
Odd right, that they would automatically coalesse into the proper shape. Well actually, it's not odd, and it's not magic. It just so happens that that is the shape, it is because they form this shape that the shape is in us, if it naturally formed another shape then life would have developed differently or not at all.

Evolution is not a religion, it's science.
Perhaps the notion of a magical being creating people out of dirt and ribs needed to be investigated a little bit.
Perhaps these evolutionists should just believe everything they read in the bible as if it actually happened. That would make us all happier.

There are no beliefs, fundamental or otherwise within evolution.
The distinction is Assumption versus belief.
Evolution is an instrument of science, specifically a proposed stance which is evaluated in proof format throught the application of tests using only observable data.

ALL human understanding are according to faith. provided that a being have absolute understanding can that being state that their understanding is according to absolute data. Human have not got absolute understanding, so all human understanding is according to faith. What makes one human place greater advantageous than yet another is the evidence that help its faith claims. Deficiencies interior the evidence that help Evolution. a million. no longer Observable 2. No Transitional varieties seen interior the fossil checklist or present right this moment 3. Mathematically impossible by a spontaneous technique ( Random Mutation) With this form of deficiency interior the evidence that help evolution, persons who nevertheless believe that it is authentic are FANATICALLY religious.

and i have nothing against Islam, but the link in the answer above mine leads to a page based on very selective views and is totally inaccurate. most people who diss evolution have no idea about what evolution means.

The fundamental belief, which is hard to disprove, is that things change. One can't deny things change.
Now, if you're going to say ALL things change because of God, then you're going to have to credit God for No Fault Divorce, Cohabitation, the decline of marriage (it's under 50% in America) and the homosexual issues, including same sex marriages now being performed by some churches and ordained Bishops.

I don't know of any religion of evolution. Scientists don't worship Darwin. Evolution is just a theory that is strongly supported by evidence. It's actually opposite to religion, because it doesn't make any claims of absolute truth.
