Oh there are many fun things you can do with tuna! Me and my husband love tuna and have tried eating it in many different styles. Here are some ways I usually use tuna
1. As you mentions, tuna in wheat bread with low fat mayo. For extra tang you can add honey mustard, sweet relish, lettuce and tomatoes.
2. If you do not like lettuce and tomatoes, you can add green peppers and green onions. You can even add shredded cheese.
3. You can buy whole wheat tortilas and make a tuna roll. Just spread the tuna paste onto the tortilla and fold it in. It tastes very good.
4. Here's an idea which is not too healty. The same tuna mixture you use for tuna sandwich, you can use that filling and put it in a crescent roll and bake it as you would a regular croissant.
I hope these ideas help. And don't forget to add different spices such as salt and pepper for some flavour. Have fun with it and think outside the box! =)

When I was little I loved tuna and my mom made am nea tuna sandwich. She put in spicy mustard, fat free mayonaisse, celery, and pickels. It crunched and tasted delicious. Another good tuna lunch to shake it up a bit it a tuna melt, add a tomato and some sharp cheddar cheese and toast or microwave for a few minutes and it's amazing.

I've been making a tuna salad with yogurt instead of mayo. I also add lime juice, cilantro, hot sauce, red onion, and sesame seeds.
If you insist on using mayo try adding dill and diced cucumbers. Yummy. Think I'm gonna go to the kitchen and make myself a tuna sandwich.

I don't care for mayo so I mix my tuna with chopped up dill pickles, & a little spicy brown mustard. Also, since I like spicy foods I also add a few drops of my favorite hot sauce(Chipolte Tabsco).

relish, cayenne, salt, pepper, diced celery, dijon mustard, chopped olives.... all add for extra flavor with few calories, and go great if you mix them all together.
PS If you are trying to eat healthy, make sure you are eating the tuna that is packed in water and not oil

try some avacado and bean sprouts or alfalfa sprouts-makes it nice and crunchy! I cant eat bread (wheat allergy) so I wrap my tuna in a lettuce leaf, or sometimes in a rice tortilla. and roll it as a wrap. Congrats on eating healthy! So many people dont

Try these different types of salad plants: wild rocket, watercress, lamb's tongue lettuce; mizuma (or is it misuma?). You could try some hummous; a nice mustard--maybe not an English one because it's a bit fierce; This can be nice, get some of your favourite tinned beans (Pinto beans are nice for this) drain them, mash them up and put in your Tuna sandwich.

Mix your tuna with soft cream cheese and some pickles. I didn't think it would taste good either but it's great! Best alternative to mayo I have found.
