Do you think he learned from his mistake?

Ok so it started off as a really great friendship which lead into a boyfriend and girlfriend relationship. However he had issues such as no confidence, anger problems, and getting over an ex that I felt just would not make the relationship work. So, we went on one date on the date I told him I would go out with him again but then I just knew it wouldn't work out so I told him on the internet the next day there would be no second date. (I know it was cruel and I appologized and if he thought what I did was awful he had the chance to leave) Well we still continued to talk via the internet and even sometimes 6 hours a night. He had fixed his issues and the possibility of a relationship was brought up several times (his response always being maybe). Well 3 months ago his father died of cancer I sent him a card I talked to him and told him I would be there but he never accepted my offer. Well what happened was he found another girl. So what I did was write him a letter of closure...

in which I did not yell at him I just told him my true feelings and how I hope he finds someone to make him happy. Well after the letter was sent about almost a week later he im's me and tells me I must be happy because it is over between him and that girl. I said to him why would I be happy it's not like you are coming back to me and I am no one's backup. Do you think that he might have truly learned he made a mistake in leaving me and I should give him a second try (if that is what he wants)? I mean I think his head was so foggy because his father died that he wasn't thinking right. I think maybe he knew how much I cared for him and was afriad to show me his true emotions.

It doesn't sound like this guy has worked through any issues at all. He sounds just as banana sandwich as ever and apparently he expects you to avail yourself to him whenever he chooses. Good luck having a healthy relationship with someone like that. Some people, while making the greatest friends, would be the worst person to get involved in a relationship with. You see, as friends, you really only see their good side and what they want you to see, however in a relationship, the curtain is pulled back and that person is exposed for what they truly are whether you like it or not. I think the best thing for you to do would be to remain friends with this guy, nothing more. If you take it further than friendship, I don't see it ending any other way than badly..

Well it certainly appears that he is using you as a backup. Probably receiving the card with how you felt written in it reminded him of you. Hopefully the card wasn’t the reason he broke up with the girl. But for whatever reason he obviously thinks he has a second chance with you. Really examine what type of person he is with and without you. Give him time alone too. If you decide to be with him give him time to really think. You don’t want to jump in with him, just for him to turn around and leave you because he really isn’t ready, or something along those lines.

There are truthfully risky situations, like crossing the line, the place discovering via trial and blunder could be, properly, risky. quite often the international isn't so deadly and for many situations the only thank you to be taught what's sweet for you is to attempt, fail, regulate and have a look into back. the downside of listening is to finally end up residing a existence that's no longer your guy or woman and ending up with some bruises is properly worth it.

I think this man has way to many problems, you said it yourself "he has issues and anger problems." those should be all RED FLAGS for you. I would not be looking for a relationship with this man, if I were you. He found another girl anyway stay out of it now
