is it possible to die consiously?

I heard that some indian saints died at their will,do you think it is possible. what is the use of doing all things when we know we are going to die one day. Why cant we just prepare for death???

If u think deeply into this matter then u will find that all of us die consiously and it is very true. the person who is dying he comes to know well before time of death that he/she is dying. but the only thing is that they are not able to tell us this experience of consious death becoz they die. but the saints dont know about there death they adopt death when ever they feel it is the time to go and people think that knew about there death. to decide what is the right time to die is known to the saints by the regrous prayers they do to please god so that god give them the direction in life.

We should live our lives as God intended but be ready to leave this life whenever that time comes and not spend our time worrying about it,if we live life in union with God then we will be prepared for death.

Well god.....Sometimes even I feel the same......We live to die some day right....but I feel theres something else also...Something which can be called as a Mission or a task....a task given to us by God (if u believe in him)....Ya ofcourse day after day conciously or unconciously we are preparing ourselves to die...the task which is given inbetween to us is only to prepare ourselves for Life....This is something called as eternal life...a life after death.....

This task (our life in this mortal world) decides whether we are fit to live an eternal life.....

(this is what I believe...and I don't expect you to feel the same)
