My plasma tv broke down and I have no idea how I have to go about filing a claim. When I call Best buy they tell me I have to give them all the numbers but I don't have them anymore. I know I bought an extended warranty but have no proof for it. Please, did someone run into a similar situation? What could I do?

Tough with no receipts, but get the product Number and the serial number of your TV from the back of the TV.

If you bought it from best buy, I am sure they have a record of the purchase, but at minimum they need a serial number and a model number.

If you paid by credit, try to get a copy of your receipts for both the TV and the extented warranty from your credit card company.
