No, I'm certain the Earth is millions of years old as the scientific evidence suggests.
The notion of 6000 years comes from the Lord creating the Earth in 6 days, and the verse that says a day is as 1000 years to the Lord.
I don't believe the literal timetable of Earth's creation and age are spelled out in the Bible. God is eternal, and therefore has no measure of time as we do.

Whatever it says in the Bible is true. God planted all the evidence to the contrary just to test our faith. If we are weak and believe all of the knowledge ever discovered then we will burn in hell. It was so much easier in the Dark Ages without any knowledge to distract us. Hopefully George W will lead us into a new Dark Age where they stop teaching lies in schools such as evolution, astronomy, carbon dating, history. Who really needs to know such things when we have the Bible.

YES!!! If you are a believer, you believe what Scripture teaches, and yes it teaches that the earth is about 6000 years old. I wasn't here then. If you were here millions of years ago... Science is facts- the rest is interpretation. Evolutionism is a religion. So is Hedonism, moral relativism,. Churchianity does not teach truth, and there seem to be very few truth seekers out here.

Actually, the Earth was created at the moment my dog came into being. We are all expressions of His divine grace. We may posess memories of life before him and, since he died 3 years ago, of life after him, but that is just his gift to us. For Ajax so loved the world that he gave us the illusion of time before and beyond his existance.
Glory be to Ajax, good dog.

I think it is about four billion years old. I never heard anything to the contrary until I came on here.

yes some idiots believe in the Young Earth. Because... God created trees with tree rings already in place! And with carbon dating going! Fortunately by that logic... Yesterday didnt exist, and you cannot prove it did. Cuz God coulda created us three minutes ago, with memories made iun our heads to make us BELIEVE we existed before then. Way to go
