Mcleod Ganj in upper Dharamsala in himachal pradesh ,multi cuisine and its the land of sprituality and you will find anything to everything available there,reike,yoga,women ,trekking, lovely lodges,go and try it out its a fun place.

Ootty - It is in Tamil Nadu, Nilgiris Dist. Nearly 200 - 250 kms away from Bangalore. Good hotels available. Ootty Gate, Holiday Inn, etc. April - May will be an attraction. But it will be little expensive in that time. Flower Show / Race/ etc. taken place at that time.
