we are all programmed to see death as a scary and bad thing that happens to us all, but really its nothing to be afraid of. you just need to live a happy and fulfilling life, making sure you grasp every opportunity on your way.

I believe that we are always afraid of stuff we don't know about & that includes death as well. Sometimes people who are religious tell folks that they better have asked forgiveness & be right with God or else they will be damned to hell forever - not a pretty picture, at least I wouldn't want to wonder if I asked forgiveness for every sin I committed & think I might have to burn forever!
Dying is a part of life & I think if you view it as something all people have to face. I think it's wonderful that you had a "really" beautiful dream about death & in your dream you were happy - I'd keep that & maybe journal out my thoughts when I woke.
The media does play into our thoughts about death. Take for instance just the "news" - here's a phrase that I believe is true- "If it bleeds, then it leads. For the first half of news is telling us one catastrophe after another - I don't watch the news because there is so much depressing news. I want to surround myself with healthy positive messages, so I don't get down & depressed - life does enough depressing on it's own. I hope this reassures you that what you experienced could be a sign that you are able to accept that we all die & you made yours beautiful!
I'd like a dream like that!

Noone is really scared of death. Its just a matter of when we going to die and whether we enjoyed life to the fullest yet or whether we have family and kids to leave behind that are supported and happy. But do you really think it is going to be the same way as it appeared in your dream? How you know you going to heaven?lol Isnt it God's decision and not really your choice?

It is only natural to be afraid of dying due to human nature, we are predetermined to have fear of the unknown. But your right, it is beautiful. Where we go when we die is Home, this place called Earth and the lifetime we live on it are just a series of lessons that teach us things to strengthen us there at Home. Your dream was just what you would say a memory or cognitive vision of Home. Your spirit was probably just reminding you that there nothing to be afraid of possibly because of something that might happen to you in the future, to help you deal.
