Fake, though some even convince themselves they are not fake. Really, they are practicing a skill called "cold reading", which is a method of gleaning information from the subject and using it to seem knowledgable. Human psychology plays heavily into it.

I'm not exactly sure how I feel about mediums and psychics. I think that if they do have power, they tend to portray themselves as more than they really are and might sometimes have some psychic connection, but just make it up the rest of the time.
I believe that what people experience most is that they find something in their time with a medium that helps them. While you might not actually get some psychic connection, to visit a medium usually forces you to work through some things, which can be very beneficial. It's kind of like a form of therapy. It's not so much in some way speaking with your passed loved one that helps, but digging deep into your own psyche that makes the experience worthwhile.
Having also lost my brother at a young age, looking back, I just wish I had sad down and talked with someone who would have forced me to work through my feelings - therapist, support group, friend, even a psychic. It would have helped me immensely.

A medium cannot tell you anything. They are fakes.
I'm very sorry about your brother. I'm sure that you can cope, and there's a way to think about it that will help you do that. Your brother is gone. His connection to the world - the meaning of his life - is now in the people who knew him while he was still here. You're a very important one of those people. The meaning of your brother's life now depends to a great extent on how you live yours.
Messing with fake psychics is not a very good way to honor your brother's life. But you can live your own life to its fullest, having experiences, accomplishing things, helping others, and while doing so, keep in mind that you're respecting your brother and fulfilling his life. That's the direction you want to go. Forget about mediums, and live.

I think they are fake.
I am sorry that you lost your brother in such a terrible way.
The mediums would probably just accept a fee and tell you what they thought you wanted to hear.
It will take time for you to grieve over this loss. I have been there before, and honestly, I would not go to a medium for answers.

I know first hand how hard it is to lose someone close to suicide. I'm sorry for your loss. From where I stand....he's just gone. Mediums and psychics can't help you. Over time I hope you are able to come to grips with a death such as this. I assure you...it's not easy or quick. Hold on to the good memories you have and be thankful for those. The suicide in my life took place over 44 years ago...and it still hurts....but not as acutely as it did early on. Seek the help of a therapist and do the grief work. My best to you.

Save your money. They are all fake and can tell you nothing about your brother. They will just tell you broad things that you will then match up to something in you or your brother's life. A long time ago I went to fortune tellers, tea leaf readers and the like. At the time I thought they were cool. I now believe they are fakes and have no knowledge of which they claim.
I'm very sorry about your brother's death. I pray that you and your family will eventually find peace with what happened.

I am sorry about your loss, but mediums are a fake. They are parasites that feed on the sorrow and despair of others.
As a Catholic, I believe that Jesus Christ conquered death so that death has no power over us. We believe in the communion of saints, which means that even when people have left this life, they are still members of the Body of Christ and are there for us to pray for us.
There are many cases of suicide in which the person who has committed suicide is in such distress and anguish that he cannot be held accountable for his actions. You can pray to God to have mercy on the soul of your brother.
If you want answers to your questions, go to someone who will tell you the truth, not tell you what you want to hear. Go talk to a priest (even if you are not Catholic), or simply contact me.

In all seriousness, you'd be better off seeking good support groups, and potentially professional help (like a counselor, doctor, or minister). Support groups can be both formal (like a group of people who have had a suicide in the family) and informal as in your good friends.
A medium *may* help in that they'll tell you things that may seem to answer your questions but basically they're guessing based on what you say and your body language.

They are all with out a doubt fake. Do not go to one they will only exploit your sadness and confusion. I am sorry to here about your brother. Suicide always brings infinitely more questions than answers but going to one of those people is not going to answer a single thing.

Hi I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my uncle to sucide as well.
You sound like someone who is interested in the spiritual side of life, perhaps this has been increased in this time as you come to terms with your loss. A lot of people do go to Mediums to try to exlore this spiritual side to life and perhaps have a link back to loved ones who have left this life.
One of the best kept secrets is that a much more powerful way of connecting with the Supernatural Light is through Jesus. Jesus said "I am the Light" other people called him "Prince of Peace" (with the idea of shallom peace as holistic total inner peace) - some churches are more aware than others about the supernatural aspects of their God but most would be able to talk to you about how you can know this God of light with you at this time. Like I said this is often the best kept secret of the church - God is supernatural.
God also knows about pain and loosing one he loves and you can know his closeness with you if you would like.
I hope you find answers to your questions and know God close to you at this time.
