Just remember that anything that you give up for the Lord, He will give back to you a better one.
Yes I gave up a wonderful guy years ago and I saw he and his wife recently and she bore and uncanny resemblance to me. But they were happy and I cannot begrudge them that. If you truly love a person you want whats best for them too.

Yes I have. He was a very nice guy and he offered me the moon and the stars, but we disagreed on the most fundamental of values. So, we finally went our separate ways. I was doing what we call "missionary dating", figuring I could lead him to the Lord but that never happened. We are both happily married to other people, so it just wasn't the right time and place for us I guess. It hurt, but in the long run it was the best choice. I've now been married almost 21 years to a wonderful man who shares the same Christian values I have.

I am an engaged now but I have to say that I have never been in a realtionship where me and the guy were unequally yolked. But..I know friends who were and they broke up because of that. And i coudlnt agree with them more. If you are a woman of God and seeking God and know God has something for you..why would you want someone who is going to hold you back.
Trust me that God knew what he was saying when he said to be equally yolked with your partner. For being faithful to God He will be faithful to you and bring you a man of God that you will have no doubt about in your mind that he is the one. ;)

Yeh. Had to end a relationship with a Muslim guy whom I was very fond of. It hurt so much but at the same time it was a non starter. We just wasted too much time wishing things were different.

Yes, and I regretted losing the relationship. On the other hand, if I had remained a Christian, and we had married, it probably would have caused extra stress on the relationship.

If you were unequally yoked, it was not a true love|
It only *appeared* to be|
Your true love will appear - then you will know without a shadow of a doubt it is the real thing|
