Wanting to build a concrete shower in the corner of the basement using the curent basement walls. Does anyone have one now that they could send me a picture of, or any ideas or suggestions for how to go about building one. Also, I plan to paint the blocks when I'm finished, should I use a marine paint?

I would prepare the walls with an epoxy to prevent walter from damaging the concrete. There are many types, but I would use an oil based epoxy. It will smell terrible, but when properly applied, it will shed the water. Good luck

Why would you subject your walls to water? Over time your the dirt, moled and dampness will be a big problem. Use a vinyl shower stall but don't leave your walls bare to water like that.
