Huh? It's not fair to assume ALL liberals do not have faith in the Lord. I'm sure there are many Republicans and Democrats that have no faith in the Lord, but not ALL.

Good Luck & God Bless.

Why don't throwbacks have "no" brain? If by faith you mean "blind" faith, then I guess you might be right. If all you have and rely on is blind faith, then the next time you are in a car and a train is coming down the track, don't stop for it. Why bother taking medicine if you're sick? Forget that too.... you have faith. Try taking a short-cut by walking across a busy Interstate Hwy. the next time you go out. Go for it kiddo. Me I guess I'll just have to be one of those "faithless" progressives that mix their faith with reason.

Just because we don't have any faith at all in the Christian Right or the Republican party
doesn't mean we do not have faith in the Lord

Ya better take a look at Jesus= the most famous of all liberals
Conservatism is akin to non tolerance(you know like the Taliban)

a.) The question should be 'Why don't liberals have ANY faith in the Lord?'
b.) Most Liberals do believe in the Lord, but we don't run around using our religion to behave in a prejudice manner.

I wonder if you've really researched your assumption about liberals and faith, just as I wonder whether you've actually studied grammar.

Many liberals are devout Christians, and devout Jews.

I would ask where you got the notion that liberals have no faith, and then suggest that you consider that source.

We have faith but we also have sanity. Those who use faith as a weapon are not true to their own beliefs. Faith does not tell someone to hate gays or ignore poverty yet those that say they are faithful do their best to put down anyone that does not follow their beliefs. I would rather be a helpful agnostic than a hateful Christian.

There are religious people in all political spectrums. The conservatives have sided with the Religious Right, though, and have tried to make people like you believe that this isn't the case.

The Republicans have figured out that if you have a bunch of sheep believing in ficticious gods, it would be an easily manipulated voting block.

I'm sorry, but you are no longer allowed to ask this question, as "The Lord" is a copyrighted trademark owned by the Republican Party of America.

Contrary to what talk radio tells you to believe, George W. Bush isn't "The Lord".
