Since it is NEVER good to be faithless, it would be much better to be dumb and religious (filled with faith) .
Best of all, of course, would be to be smart and a man of faith.

Infinitely superior to be smart and faithless than dumb and religious.
If you are smart and faithless, when you say something, it is likely to be true even if you just say, "I don't know yet." If you are dumb and religious, everything you say is going to be wrong.

Smart and religion...as religious faith is the beginning point for all wisdom. What not be possible to be "smart and faithless". Faithless is automatically "dumb".

The wisdom of this world is foolishness with God...1 Cor 3:19.
I choose to walk with God.

I'm not religious, I'm a believer and smart. By the way, you can be religious and NOT be a person of faith. I have faith, I am not religious.

That's an easy one. Because the Lord watches over the simple-hearted and keeps them safe. They are much better off than a cynical bitter person.
