The Camp site is in the Mid-West and we will be using cabins. In addition to sled riding and snowman building, what other activities would you suggest to entertain a Cub Scout Pack?

Contest to see who can pee their name in the snow the best.

Seriously, though, the capture the flag with snow-built forts is always a hit if you can find enough snow. Really, anything where you can divide up into smaller teams and have a simple contest, like who can make the biggest snowball, who can make the best igloo, etc. Otherwise, a traditional sport like football can be great in the cold weather.

Depending on temps. avoid activities where they will sweat. Makes for a chilly night.

Try survival skills. Building lean-tos, quincys, fire building. Warming rocks to stay warm in your sleeping bags. navigation etc.
