That is not in the bible. Jesus and the writers of the NT give little insight into exactly what it will be like when we go to heaven. Jesus does say that "we will be as the angels" and that there will be no marriage so I think we will be, as some have seen in visions, without our earthly sexuality....
god bless

Several people have gone to heaven and come back again. Jesse Duplantis was one. He is an Evangelist today. He said he recognized various people like King David and Paul although he has never seen them.
No one really knows what heaven is like until we get there.
As for your fiance's comment, I am unaware of any answers like that in the Bible.
God Bless you and give you peace.

No, Heaven is a spiritual realm. Quite different from this, it will be all love.Lets not confuse heavenly beings with humans.Of course Jesus and the elect would be known.Humans,The dead no nothing, talking to spirits is not anyone who is in heaven.Jesus clearly states these things.

Some people interpret that. My grandmother says that. I've read the bible myself, but don't have any memory of something like that. It is probably a passage they found and interpreted. The bible is a lot to remember. There is something kind of wird and a little off about people who have the whole thing memorized lol :)
----------------------------------------------
Hey also, what's the point of living this life if you aren't going to remember it clearly anyway? What would you have learned?

Your question has me confused. Recognize them but not know who they are? Perhaps it's like when we recognize something like it's familiar but we can not place a name on it or where we've seen it before. So maybe, while we recognize these people as someone we know, we can't place a name on the person.
Does that help?

The bible says, 'We will be known as we are known"
We will know them and they will know us. Look when Jesus was transfigured with Moses and Elijah. John and Peter knew who they were.

No, and it doesn't matter what the Bible says about it. There is no Heaven or Hell. There are no gods either. That is all just religious superstition.
