Twice. The first time, I was living with a boyfriend in a nearby town. I had a dream that I was renting a tiny apartment, where you entered into a small kitchen. To the left was a bathroom with pink tile, and straight through the kitchen was a living room with a mustard colored couch. A door in the living room led to a tiny bedroom. My stepfather was with me, and he said, "It sure is small Amy, there's not even room for a table." I replied "That's OK, I'm only going to be here a few weeks."

Fast forward 8 months. I discovered my boyfriend was cheating, so I left. I rented an apartment sight unseen, and while filling out the paper work my new landlord told me of a larger apt. opening in three weeks. I signed on for 3 weeks in the small one, then a year in the larger. We went to look at the small apartment. Upon entering the kitchen there was a door to the left that opened onto a bathroom with pink tile. Straight through the kitchen was a tiny livingroom with a mustard colored couch. Off the livingroom was a tiny bedroom.

On my way home to get my belongings, my stepfather, who was driving me because I don't, said, "It sure is small Amy. There's not even room for a table." I replied "That's OK, I'm only going to be there 3 weeks." That's when I remembered my dream, and said "OMG, you aren't going to believe this!..." and I proceeded to tell him the story.

The second time, I was visiting with my stepfather at the picnic table while my kids were playing in the sandbox. Bordering the yard is a row of pine trees, they're old and have been there for years. I had no reason to think that the tallest of the trees would fall on to the sandbox. But I just knew it was going to.

An hour or so into our visit, it looked like a storm was brewing. My stepfather ran me home to shut windows, and then we returned to his house. I could have stayed home, but I was wanting to visit with my mother, who was out shopping.

The kids headed straight for the sandbox but I told them to go to the house. We no sooner made it inside when one of the most violent storms I have ever seen came through the area. It lasted only a few minutes, the power went out, there was wind....When it was over we went outside to survey the damage. Imagine my surprise when I saw the top 20 feet of that pine tree laying in the sandbox.

That happened on July 9, 1999. I remember the date so well because straight-line winds damaged quite a few homes in our area that night.

Telepathy, yes Precognition, yes Telekinesis, no Telepathy I have had with three individuals in my life-happened so consistently with two of them that I couldn't doubt it any more. (Example, my daughter cut her hand badly while on a hike with a friend, I was at home and I found myself up and moving toward the door without even knowing why I was moving, met them on their way back to the house, and knew before anyone spoke what had happened and how many stitches it would need.) (Another example, one person would consistently pass me whatever I needed at the dinner table just as I was about to ask. I was feeding kids as well as myself so it wasn't from habit or routine that the person knew what I was about to ask for.) The third was someone who read me, I couldn't read him, but we weren't well acquainted and he couldn't have known what I was thinking any other way. (we made some tests.) Precognition-small things like reaching an intersection while driving in thick fog, heard a voice in my head say A car is approaching from the left, I waited three seconds and there was one. It was a very unused country road so it probably wasn't just chance. Sometimes I get hunches, like I'd better get my work done early today because I'll need the time for something later in the shift, or, I'd better bring my phone with me, and a few minutes later it rings.

Yes. Nothing very dramatic though. Except for the attempted mugging which I foiled. Although I'm not sure that was precog. Might have to classify that under another category.

I should add that I was not aware of what was happening. It wasn't like having visions or anything. It was just like "I should take my cell phone out of my purse or I won't hear it ring" and then having it ring. Or walking in a certain direction on little more than a whim and finding what I was looking for.

After that happened enough times I realized it was something out of the ordinary. The problem is I still can't tell what's actually going to happen and what's just a random thought in my head.

No. I did know prior to notification that both of my Grandfathers had passed away. I have had dreams and then within a week had the event happen as I dreamed it would.

Not really, though many have thought they have. Usually, though, it's a matter of just remembering after the fact that you thought something somewhat similar to something that just happened, and your brain will fill in your memories to fit the event (again after the fact) to make it seem even more accurate.

Elizabeth Loftus did some good work on how we adjust our memories to fit what we want to believe we remember.
