I never really had a proper relationship with this lady but were intimate in other ways. We used to work together and she is 11 years older than me. Since then I have changed jobs and lost contact, I really miss her. She was bipolar but I loved her all the same. It has now been almost 6 months and although I don't think about her as much I still do. I also wonder if she has a new man and imagine her having a much better time with him, she has 3 kids and I feel like she has a much better life than me.

If you have truely loved some one, you never get over it, you just learn to live with the emotion until its almost as if you have "forgotten" about them. I dated my guy for 3 years, and I always say, if i had gotten "used to the pain" in 1 month, then I didnt really have a strong emotional connection with him. Thats why we find rebound guys (girls), helps us to forget the "pain".
