UK BT phone line. One phone number, 2 sockets, one downstairs and one upstairs. Every night - but not at the same time - the phone makes a noise, beeps and clicks but does not ring, it wakes me up. Anyone else experience this/know what causes it.
I know I can take it out and it will stop, just wondering what might be causing it.

So i guess it doesnt do at day time???
if only at night may be u cant hear it in day time due to other noises around...
if its really only at night ..ck may be someone is using ur phone...
