I never claimed to be WSIDR or even like him. There really is a cat under my chair biting and clawing my feet.

Thanks for the sugestions but I don't think my daughter would like it if I kill, eat, kick or de-claw her cat.

Gently kick it away - do it enough times (Not kick it across the room - just gently nudge it) - and it will give up and find something else to annoy.
Remember - people don't own cats, cats own people.
