He is insecure and possessive .. you need to have a social circle outside of your relationship. Its important to have you're own life and if your boyfriend really loves you he wont try to keep you from your friends. Being able to go out with friends without him also shows that he wants you to be happy. If he cant understand that you dont need him.. or his possessive bullshit!

He is controlling and insecure. He is trying to cut you off from the people in your life. Don't let him, if you do you will live to regret it. Controlling behavior is the first sign of an abuser. Tell him you will see who you want when you want if he can't deal with it, DTMFA. (That's Dump the MotherF.... Already)

there could be many reasons but truth be told,,they are your friends to choose not his.he has the same brain you do,,he has the same ideas you do,he has the same problems you do,,,you are both human and have the same rights as any one else, not even a husband has the right to alienate you from your chosen, proven group of friends, they are yours for a reason, keep them that way or you could find yourself totally dependent on him all the time for everything,,permission to go out,,permission to spend money, permission to talk to others, permission to have an opinion,,the list goes on IF YOU LET IT! if you disagree tell him,,,you do not need to succumb to all his desires no matter what fancy packaging he proposes them in. the best one usually,,," i miss you when you go out so stay in with me' you think its romantic he thinks,,well that one works il keep using it until she doesnt go anywhere anymore,it happens,,,a lot!

or maybe he knows that all your friends are whores and druggies maybe he just doesnt want you to be like them because girls tend to follow in there friends footsteps rather then what they know is right. Maybe to him all your friends are losers and he can see it but you cant yet.

He is obviously very possessive and jealous and that is really not a good thing in a relationship - talk it out with him and ask him straight out !

Depends if you havent been going out long enough (less than two months) then he may feel uncomfortable meeting someone new....

or he may be very shy just naturally.

Ask him!

He is controlling and you may be in an unhealthy relationship. Re-look your situation and see if he is really for you.
