I was craving Rice Krispie cereal yesterday so I ate some for breakfast this morning. Is it a good cereal to eat while losing weight? I like it because of the generous serving size, and its fairly low in cals....is it good or bad?

It's a bit too low on fibre and too high on sugar/carb. But any dieter is allowed to satisfy his/her craving once in a while. Suggestion: eat it once a week with skim milk.

hello, well, rice krispie cereal is definately better than most sugar coated cereals. What I have found out with dieting is that, Anything is moderation is okay. While I was dieting I was eating a women's oatmeal with Fiber, It helped soo much. But, If I wanted something different I didn't deprive myself of it. Good Luck.

Rice Krispies are not the best choice, but not the worst. Try something high in fiber to fill you up and keep you satisfied.

It is not a bad cereal, but something higher in fiber will make you feel full longer.

I think it's a great cereal if you don't put sugar on it of course.
