i've tried heavier conditioners and not washing my hair for a day, but then it is just greasy and staticky (if that's a word). Any suggestions?

my hair is baby fine and poker-straight, so any oily product just makes it flat and stringy.

Try spraying your hair brush with hairspray. Or lightly spray your hair. I have the same problem with my hair. It is thin and straight. I have tried the dryer sheet before but I felt like my hair got oily faster.

i might propose putting a dryer sheet on your clothing & brush besides. Dab some conditioner on your hair when you pop out of the bathe too, ( in basic terms a splash) so as that it will not weigh it down. If that doesn't artwork, i might attempt a particular hair product for climate shield. :0)

Are you talking about static-y? If so, smooth it down with a dryer sheet. You know, those fabric softener sheets.

try anything with sillicone in it, like silk drops or fredrik fekkai's finishing polish or instant volume spray.
the finishing polish is wonderful, all you need is one drop and smooth it over your hair, it contains olive oil son it weighs your hair down but not oily, and is anti-frizz
