Where can I download the basic sound recorder for Windows XP?

I want to change my opening sound when Windows starts, to a theme tune I have. To do this it needs to be a wav. file. I know I DID have the recorder, as my closing sound is my girlfriends giggle. I have done a search and cannot find it. Normally, its is Programs>Access>Entertainment. Is there anywhere I can download it, without having to pay? Sorry about the long winded-ness. Mark

just download a wav. recorder, not hard to get
