No, you can't fall in love. Love requires trust, mutual respect, affection. People aren't what they say they are and you can't always believe what's said on-line.

You're just feeling lust and, no, you can't believe him. He may be married. He may be infected with herpes or AIDS. You don't really know him. Meet him in person and try to get to know who he really is before you start moving towards any form of intimacy, physical or emotional.

You may have already gotten this answer from somebody else: It is common that women are fooled a lot from internet chat. People lie about themselves, may post a photo that isn't even them and this had led to drastic circumstances. Try not to fall in love on line. Arrange to meet with each other in person. If one or the other doesn't want to, move on.

Infatuation is what you're feeling right now. Love has a whole lot of more things involved, you have to meet the person and get to know the real person behind the screen name. Be careful though. Meet in a public place with lots of people or have some friends go with you the first few times. Use caution, there are a lot of sickos out there.

It's possible to fall in love with the idea of someone. You don't really know all of who they are until you spend time face to face. Anyone can present an ideal persona via internet. Be very careful, many a heart has been broken online.

BE CAREFUL PLEASE!! And do not believe him! Men are not to be trusted. Internet is a buffet for perverts and players. Plus you know nothing about his past (his real past, the one he doesn't write about) he could be an ex-jail-inmate,a sex offender, a serial killer, a drug user or infected with some nasty virus like H.I V. (AIDS) or whatever. And read about the girls that got raped by their Internet "boyfriends"; There are a lot of sickos out there.

If you want to take the risk; then ask him to meet your parents and brothers (sickos usually don't go for that) and do a background check, make sure you know his REAL address, check with the neighbors what they say about him, check with co-workers,check for criminal records, work history, why is he along (as he claim), does he make many excuses? (mmm!!), ask for a blood test (nothing to hide nothing to fear); if he is a not a sicko but just a player you'll see he'll disappears as soon as he get tired of sleeping with you (one more notch for his belt).

ABSOLUTELY ! I met a man online and I think we got to know each other a lot better online than we would have in person. I flew to England to see him and we hit it off like a house on fire. I really think we got to know each other better here than in person. There are ways of knowing if he is being truthful or not though - you just have to watch very carefully and pick up on the little nuances that you might not be seeing at the moment - if there aren't any then you will never know unless you meet him ! My internet lover and I are very much in love and I am now moving to England to marry him !!

I'm not so sure about love. Because that takes actually knowing someone.
