I want to know this because I have to take Motrin for my pain and I need to have food in my stomach for that. The amoxicillin works best on an empty stomach. Therefore, I was wondering how long should I wait to eat something in order to take the Motrin. Please...hurry...sinusitis...head...really...really...hurts.....

around 15mins sometimes less sometimes more depending on your staus, e.g when you last ate.

It takes about 30 minutes to be in your system well enough to eat. After that you are fine to eat.
