If you want the colors to "blend" as I'm perceiving your explanation, then go with a color within the same family as yellow. Light yellow can have many hues and intensities, what color is it specifically? You want to stay within the same hue and intensity based on the colors that you prefer your bedroom to be. Do your homework on the basics of the color wheel and choose a color suitable for you.

A lot of people with yellow walls have a tendency to use blues or purples as accent colors. Even a deep sage green would blend nicely.

Greens or red and orange and brown can work. Blues are mainly a subject color. Your subject color is yellow so go with a secondary color to give a sharp 3-D look.

you do no longer desire to have 5 distinctive sharp colorings in a room, specifically no count if it extremely is small. the colours could head. in case you walk right into a room and a few thing catches your eye at contemporary, it skill it does not belong there. i could circulate with impartial carpet and dark yellow curtain (a pair of colorations darker than the partitions )

I think blues and greens would look nice. I have a deep blue colored guest bedroom that I have accented with yellow. It gives a nice cheerful feeling.

Greens and blues. Depending on the shade of yellow you could do lavender. My mom did buttercup and lavender. It looked so elegant.
