Albert Einstein wrote this riddle in the early 20th century. He said that 98% of the population would not be able to solve it.


In a street there are 5 houses painted 5 different
colors. In each house lives a person of a different
nationality. The 5 homeowners each drink a different
beverage, smokes a different brand of cigarettes and
keeps a different pet.

THE QUESTION : WHO OWNS THE FISH?

The Dane lives in the second house (blue), drinks tea, smokes Blends and keeps horses.
The Brit lives in the center house (red), drinks milk, smokes Pall Malls and keeps birds.
The German lives in the fourth house (green), drinks coffee, smokes Princes and keeps fishes.
The Swede lives in the last house (white), drinks beer, smokes Bluemasters and keeps dogs.

Five Pets: dog, bird, cat, horse, fish.
Five Nationalities: British, Swedish, German, Norwegian, Danish.
Five Beverages: Tea, Coffee, Milk, Water, Beer.
Five Brands Cig: Pall Mall, Blends, Dunhill’s, Blue master, Prince.
Five color of house: Red, White, Blue, Yellow, and Green.

Start the Riddle with points 9, 14, 8, 4, 5, 1, 7, 11…. And so on…..


So accordingly the soln would be:

1st House - Norwegian,yellow house,drink water,smokes Dunhill,keeks cats.

2nd House - Danish,blue house , drink tea, smokes blend, keeps horse.

3rd House - British,red house ,drink milk, smokes pall mall, keeps birds.

4th House - German,green house , drink coffee, smokes prince, keeps fish.

5th House - Swedish,white house ,drink beer, smokes blue master, keeps dogs




So the German with green house drinking coffee and smoking Prince has the Fish

i took 1st house as yellow in which Norwegian lives who also drinks dun hills....
the second house which i took was blue who has the horses as his pet....
third house as blue in which the person drinks milk and has a pet cat....
fifth house as red in which Brit lived who had dog as his pet....
the house that remained and who has fish as his pet was the fourth house which was coloured green in which the person who smoked blends lived......

I think person with blue coloured house owns the fish and that we know that blue colour is used to depict White Poeple. So, he or she is either from Canada or America because they have large fish stocks.......
