your more likely to cause damage to your health by not breathing it in. Just.... try not to do it through your nose ^ ^

Of course not. You're much more likely to get sick from breathing in an elevator with someone sneezes because airbourne diseases usually spread through tiny water droplets or fine dust particles with bacteria or viruses in them. Farting doesn't really spray any water droplets into the air. And even if there are any, your underwear and clothes will probably trap them. But it is nearly quite impossible for the anus to spray any water droplets when farting, not even if you have diarrhoea. Furthermore, most airbourne diseases are not caused by bacteria or viruses that are found in the anus and rectum.
