I'm kinda enduring an awkward situation at work. One of my closest guy friends works at the same place as I do and I began to develop feelings for him though he has a gf. I told him I liked him and I felt it was best that we ignore each other for awhile so I can get over him. Anyway he asked me if I wanted to hook up with him, i said i did, but then he said i should do it with another guy I like. Anyway during all of this, I got mad at him for jerking my feelings around and I ended up calling him a dog, but then I apologized. The thing is I said all of this via text. The next day I wrote him a letter saying how sorry I was for how I acted, and that it was better that we treat each other as professionals since he has a gf and I need to move on. He ignored me and we've been ignoring each other for the past 3 weeks and now it is awkward and i miss talking to him sometimes. Yesterday, I got a b-day card from some of my coworkers. He wrote Happy Birthday, but didn't sign his name.

well, something like that happende with me and my best friend (a guy). I think you have to just make a utual decision to put it all in the past and love each other-AS FRIENDS! For a while it was hard for me, but my friend, he helped me to stop liking him by not putting me in a position where I would be compromised-i.e not talk alone in a room, not playfight or give long hugs etc etc at least until i was sorted out. It worked, and were building our relationship as friends again. Sometimes its hard, and you think you might like him again, or miss the old days, but it will come with time. Just tell him your sorry and want to move o n, and ask if he could help you get over your feelings and ask if you can still be friends. Make sure you dont do anything flirty or seductive or angry, and just keep reminding yourself not o like him!! hope everything works out hun

Too many reasons for you to leave him alone.
1. He's in your work place. Personal spats at work AND outside the work place? No.
2. He told you to go do it with another guy you like? 'nuff said.
3. He has a GF and, if he DID something with you while ha had a GF, he would cheat on you, too.
4. Do you really need another reason?

Its best to not go there. He has a girlfriend and atleast he was honest about that. If he would decide to hook up with you, he wouldn't be honest with his girlfriend and he could do the same to you. So, its best to date someone that is single. It would have more meaning, and you would have no guilt. What goes around come around. Respect the other person, even though you don't know them.

I think you should try to get over him. Stay away from him for a while if possible... until you really feel nothing with him more than friendship
