I have found that those who believe in simple living are more appreciative in general. This world is full of materialism and greed. Not to say that you should become amish, but instead of buying things you don't need or rarely use, buy one expensive thing that will last. I'm so glad I've figured this out at a young age.

There is nothing wrong with the attitude of simply living, you may find that when you live a stylish life as you call it, that it may not be what you thought it was. When you get out on your own, and not liveing with the family if there is going to be a transformtion for you, it will happen then, so i would not worry about it.

How about simple and stylish? The two go together really well and when you think about it, stylish living is simplistic.
