The only way i have ever heard to stop this is to stop the middle of the night feed & let her cry (controlled crying). It usually takes about 2 weeks to work & it's hell getting there, but surely worth it. It always works if you do it consistently. Try getting some information on this subject to read so you can be confident. I've got an 8mo baby & he has just started sleeping through in the last week since i did the controlled crying. I also did the controlled crying at bed time. I put him down at 8pm & also do the controlled crying. It took about 1 1/2 weeks but he now goes to sleep with minimal fuss & sleeps through to about 5am. Ask peoples opinions on controlled crying here as i did & got alot of positive feedback. Good luck.

Does she nap again in the early evening hours? How long is her after lunch nap? If she is sleeping for more than an hour after lunch then try to shorten that nap and see how that helps her bed time. You also might try not giving her a bottle at 2am. At 10 months she shouldn't need it... Have you started her on baby food? You might also try giving her some cereal or veggies before bed time as well. Try to stay away from the sweet stuff at bedtime though. Anything you do will take some time to really take effect...especially cutting out that 2am feed...hang in there a good nights sleep will come! Remember to go to bed when she does...that will help you get through it all. Best wishes..

They could be multiple reason why she is waking up in the middle of the night. She could be waking up wet and wanting changed. But first you need to take a look at the enviroment she is in and what is going on at that time. If it is just her being wet change her and see if she goes back to sleep on her own. You could also try feeding her more than just a bottle add cereal and some fruit for her 9 oclock feeding. Or if she not taking the bottle to go sleep change her right before she goes to sleep to help cut down on the wetness. Another option is to make sure she stays warm enough and has all her cuddle stuff and blankets around her. It just depends on the child. Sleep when they sleep is the best way to do it.
I have one that she is almost 18 yrs old and she still doesnt sleep though the night.

Welcome to parenthood. Children will tend to sleep later as they get older, and become more active. If your child is only 10 months old, she probably has just taken her first few steps, if she's even done that yet. Sorry, but you should have read the manual a little more closely when you got her, lol.

These are the things that come with parenthood. You knew this job was dangerous when you took it!

She'll be a blessing to you always. Cherish every moment.

If you let her sleep with you, she will sleep happily through the night - unless she's in a growth spurt and needs food at night. If you nurse, all the better, you don't even have to wake up to feed her.

Anyway, humans evolved to sleep with their moms. Cribs are new fangled and counter to baby's well-being. In bed with mommy where nature intended, they sleep happily.
