Curiosity. I want to see what people think and feel about a subject that is very much taboo in most places in our society. And to make a difference. I don't think this is a forum where you can really affect people's views. That has to be done in a more personal fashion. But I at least hope to correct basic misconceptions that I used to hold, and help people who are correct formulate better explanations.

I am actually a real life, trained High Priestess in my coven, and a teacher of the craft and Wicca. I received my third degree from a real life teaching coven in Pennsylvania.

There is so much misinformation on this board about witchcraft and Wicca. There are also some serious people looking for answers to their questions about paganism, witchcraft and Wicca.

I do not have all the answers. I will admit that. Those questions that I do not have answers for, I do look up, and reference, or advise where the individuals can find the answers.

But it seems to me there are lots of folks out there who really need a good source of information on a topic that so many non Wiccan/pagan/witch seem to think they can answer with denial and eternal damnation. Not true, and I add another voice to the many others.

I read more than I post. I'm curious about what others think about Religion and Spirituality. It's hard to tell, though, what some think as most of the replies are sarcastic, hateful... just seems everyone is so defensive and lashes out at anything that they think is an insult... even if it isn't meant that way.

To get to know better the thought-process, beliefs and views of people who believe differently than I, to learn more about various religions, to correct misconceptions people have about certain groups, to give people a chance to get to know my beliefs, views and thought-process and for good ol' debate.

I believe that God is misrepresented in many religious books. I am here to educate the ignorant. I am here to be educated myself. I am here to defend whomever the religious are attacking now.
